Metamorph

In conjunction with her solo show of the same name artist and illustrator Stephanie Law introduces her new body of work with this catalog called Metamorph. Inspired by her explorations of the natural world of bees butterflies and the forest Stephanie combines her childhood experiences with her grandmother and the result is a body of work rich in texture and symbolism. Stephanie introduces her new series' of watercolor paintings entitled Unraveling Threads Essence and Continuum. There are nearly twenty total images under these banners. Additionally Stephanie has recently started working in bone fragments to create eerie insect-like assemblages forever frozen within antique frames like Victorian specimens. This new series she entitled Papilio Phantasma.
