About The Book

The learning process at a university is based on a combination of classroom and independent work of students. The main forms of organizing educational classroom work are lectures seminars laboratory classes and workshops. Each of them has its own distinctive features sometimes developed over several centuries - and in this case academic tradition dictates a clear distribution of roles in each of the classes and the conditions under which all participants will be successful. But in the modern world education is developing dynamically so new forms of organizing the educational process are emerging which as a rule are associated with innovative methods used by teachers in their work. The experience of domestic and foreign higher education shows that an increase in the amount of information included in the programs of higher educational institutions leads to significant classroom overload for students. And at the same time the rapid updating of knowledge has made it inappropriate to rely on memorizing material and as a result the purpose of education has changed. The main goal of education was not to obtain a certain amount of knowledge but to develop thinking and skills for independent acquisition of knowledge.
