Methodology of Fiction Texts in Russian Language Studies

From the point of view of foreign language teaching methodology the text is seen as a teaching tool. A literary text has a complex structure. The technique of a fiction text depends on the degree of students' knowledge of the language literature on the topic. Reading a fictional text should be preceded by introducing students to country-specific material. The text should be linguistically accessible. Each analysis of the text should be accompanied by exercises aimed at forming skills of understanding the fiction text.
