The last thing I suppose someone who is contemplating suicide wants to do is read a memoir about a young beloved family member who did just that. But this memoir is different because its emphasis is on all of the good memories which a close family member holds for her lost son. The result of sharing this memoir is that it reveals the love needs and strength that developed between all of the family members and others who touched their lives. It reflects the depth of a loving relationship; and perhaps by telling this story and having others read this story we can all be helped--those who may find themselves either in the position of wanting to end their lives or those who are in the position of having to accept and learn to live with the fact that they too have lost a loved one to suicide.
