Microfinance Delivery: Challenges & Strategies of MFIs in Gujarat State

Microfinance is revolutionary in the sense that it aims at servicing the poorest of the poor who were until now considered unfit for any form of financing except charity. The focuses on identify various factors determining challenges and thereby to come up with workable strategies to counter these delivery challenges faced by microfinance institutions(MFIs) in Gujarat. The book may contribute in three ways. Firstly MFIs would know about the underling challenges and prospects that are being neglected in the process of analyzing the problems and opportunities faced by this sector. Secondly other FIs and banks recognizing the significance of this business will get support to enter this sector with more innovative products and better standard practices. Thirdly it will help the country in coming up with new strategies for micro financing.
