Microplastics in the Ocean

The accumulation of plastics in coastal area is continuously increasing. We produce more and more amounts of garbagedaily. Single use plastics or disposable plastics are accumulated in the marine environments. Single use plastics areeffects our marine ecosystems. Single use plastics particles are broken down to produce smaller and smaller plasticsparticles. These small sized particles are called microplastics. Microplastics are harmfull to our health when we ingestedthrough food chain.
