This is a fully illustrated catalogue produced in conjunction with the exhibition Antonia Papatzanaki:Microscopies featuring 22 images of paintings and light sculptures inspired by microscopy and an essayby Art Critic-Historian Dr. Thalia Vrachopoulos. Highlighted is the absolute contrast that allows thehuman eye to fully absorb the ways in which nature builds complexity. Black and white light anddarkness comprise an exploration of microscopic organic and inorganic structures. Papatzanaki'smultidisciplinary and multifaceted approach incorporates methodologies philosophies influences and concepts from optical physics art and biology.
