She was reluctant in the beginning. Little did Jeannette know the couple had a few ulterior motives? An introduction was made to her of the owner Mark. He gave her hand a kiss and sent a spark that went through both of them.</span></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(34 34 34 1)>The restaurant had a stage where live music from the Big Band era was playing. From the stage Mark asked Clay and The Band to play a song for them. Clay introduced Jeannette without warning and asked her to join them on the stage. After the shock of the introduction she refused at first. With Amy and the audience's encouragement she reluctantly joined Clay and the band on stage. It was the most fun she had had in several years.</span></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(34 34 34 1)>The next day Jeannette was attacked by Jim Westcock. He stabbed her in the right arm several times. A neurosurgeon performed a delicate surgery to repair all the damage Westcock had done. Mark stopped to see her Just after surgery while Jeannette was still feeling the effects of anesthesia and pain meds. Without realizing it Jeannette told him how she felt about him. He told her he loved her and promised he would never hurt her but he did.
