This edition of the Midwifery Casebook: A Practical Record of Maternal and Newborn Nursing for BSc Nursing Students incorporates the changes made in the revised syllabi of the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) for Midwifery and Obstetrical Nursing in 2018. As the theory and practical nursing examinations for midwifery would be held only at the end of the fourth academic year for both normal and high-risk patient care topics (third and fourth year portions) the contents of the midwifery casebook are organized and arranged in line with the concept that learning takes place from the simple to the complex.
