Migration cooperation in Africa

About The Book

While most of the discourse on migration is centred on the Mediterranean the aim is to highlight migration on the African continent also called intra-African migration which generally represents 80% of African migration flows. Also the recent adhesion of almost all African states to the global pact on migration has only strengthened this cooperation focused on migration. The African Union the African Regional Economic Communities and the United Nations constitute the multilateral platforms par excellence where this migration policy is deployed. The relevance of this multilateral cooperation on migration will be developed throughout our work as will the advantages and limitations of this multilateral cooperation on African migration.
