<p>When Michael Andrew Quinlan entered the world in 1942 in Washington DC his birth was a miracle. According to at least one physician his very conception was impossible. Twelve inches long two-and-a-half months premature and weighing just over three pounds Mike survived and thrived for the next sixty-six years. But in 2009 he died suddenly just twelve days after being diagnosed with mantle cell B lymphoma a virulent form of cancer that is difficult to diagnose.</p> <p>In Mike: A Man for Others author William Allen Quinlan Jr. Mike’s brother narrates Mike’s story and the significant impact he had on those around him.
