In general terms military logistics is responsible for planning organizing directing and controlling all the resources necessary for the proper functioning of the armed forces at the operational level. One of the main objectives of military logistics is to ensure that the armed forces have all the necessary supplies to carry out their operations effectively and efficiently. This includes everything from the supply of food fuel and ammunition to managing the transportation of troops and equipment throughout the various stages of a military operation. In addition military logistics also plays a crucial role in the strategic planning of military operations by anticipating and forecasting the logistical needs of the armed forces based on operational objectives and field conditions.
