MILITARY MEDICINE IN THE TURKESTAN REGION

The monograph is devoted to the history of military medicine of the Russian Empire in the Turkestan region (in the second half of the XIX - early XX century). The study attempts a comprehensive study of this topic. Based on the analysis of a wide range of archival materials the source base of the imperial time as well as scientific literature the monograph examines the following issues: the formation of military health care (legislative framework logistics) the functioning of military medical infrastructure sanitary and epidemic situation in the troops and the region the activities of military doctors.
