Mimi's Passionate Dance

Have you ever felt passionate about something that others thought you werent good at? This book tells of a little girl named Mimi who is mocked and bullied for doing things differently and how her passion helps her to overcome these obstacles. This book introduces a little bit about Plena a Puerto Rican cultural dance. This book takes place in a 3rd grade class in a school in Puerto Rico. Hard work and determination go a long way and when you add passion you become unstoppable.
