Mind Games

<p>I thought coming to this retreat might actually help me find some peace or at least offer a break from the never-ending demands of work family and whatever else life keeps throwing at me. What I didn't expect was to end up stranded not just in a locked library but in the storm of tension that is Leon Travers. Leon and I were never meant to get along-his knack for veiled insults and that infuriating smirk of his practically guarantee it. But when the two of us are forced into uneasy proximity he starts showing a side I can't ignore. Beneath that polished exterior he's holding onto something raw something close to my own guarded secrets. Just as I start to peel back his walls fate has another twist planned: Leon's estranged twin Ellis arrives and with him secrets that threaten to drag both of us into a dangerous game neither of us can control. Suddenly what was meant to be a peaceful escape becomes a maze of half-truths and unspoken bonds and I'm left wondering if I can trust anyone-least of all myself.</p>
