Mind the Gap

Some of the information technology trends suggest that gaps still exist between and within leaders security professionals and technology professionals. These gaps are actually failures of these three groups to convince each other of the extent of the losses (costs) that could be incurred if they do not properly protect their resources or fail to choose to implement and maintain the technologies that their businesses require which seems to be the main reason why legitimate individuals organizations and governments are still losing many of their battles and much of their money to the ever-evolving cyber threats and ever-buggy software systems. We discuss the gaps that exist among leadership technology professionals and cybersecurity professionals. We then take a look at the options that leadership cybersecurity professionals and technology professionals have to bridge these gaps today and in the future.
