<p> From the delights of newly-born lambs through the beauty of an antique bottle to the pain of loneliness the small things in life give rich ground for poetry. <em>Minutiae</em> is a collection inspired by the hidden gems and the tiny jewels that reflect light in our lives.</p><p><br></p><p>Kirsten Johnston is a poet from regional South Australia. She writes to give the small moments of life a voice-to capture fleeting instances and impressions and bring to light the tiny joys anomalies and beauties that are often missed. The other half of Kirsten's creative life is her work as a visual artist in which she paints large-scale abstract pieces for exhibition and sale often inspired like her poetry by small treasures within our existence.</p>
