Miracle of Witness Consciousness: Based on Shiva Sutras

Life is a manifestation of consciousness. Apparent movement in consciousness results in manifestation of the universe consisting of living beings and non-living beings. Living beings are perplexed by the variety and diversity. Due to ignorance they are not able to recognize underlying unity. Non-apprehension of One reality pervading the universe leads to immense suffering in life. The power of projecting multiplicity diversity and duality is called maya. The front cover page illustrates the optical illusion symbolizing the power of maya. The lines appear to be pillar or moving or non-moving depending on perception. To come out of the illusion created by perception non-judgemental awareness – witness consciousness is to be developed. That is the theme of this book.
