<p>I didn't sign up to hunt an ancient artifact dodge shadowy figures or unravel a mystery that could destroy everything I know-but here we are. My life was a series of careful routines a way to keep the world at bay until Damon King barged in all brooding intensity and maddening secrets. He dragged me into his storm with nothing but a cryptic map and a warning I didn't take seriously enough. Now I'm standing in front of a mirror that doesn't just reflect-it remembers.
