Missing Connections

<p>In No Connections Michael muses over a childhood marred by the lack of affection parental support and emotional guidance. His father abandoned him as an infant and he didn't meet his mother until the age of thirteen. He was raised by caretakers in an environment that provided supervision but offered minimal nurturing and emotional support. Devoid of emotional support he is forced to learn about life on his own. Consequently those connections were formed later in life through experiences and mistakes.</p><p>Through storytelling he examines the impact of pivotal life events that shaped his understanding of relationships identity and his emotional landscape. These pivot points forced him to face the lack of closeness that had defined his formative years.</p>
