<p>Mitch</p><p>Life on our ranch was great until a few months ago when dead bodies started showing up all over our property. Then my younger brother Morgan and my oldest brother's girlfriend were kidnapped and beaten by a militia group. The ring leaders still haven't been found. We are cautious of everything these days. Things seem normal or at least as normal as they can be until she shows up. The one person from my past that I never wanted to see ever again. No idea what she wants or why she's here. Then things start happening on the ranch life just got complicated.</p><p> </p><p>Alicia</p><p>I hate this town with a passion and never thought I would have to be back here for more than a short trip for holidays. When mom's neighbor called and said she fell and broke her hip I knew I would have to be back for an indefinite amount of time. I can't stand the town it smells like cows the people are noisy as all get out and my past is here. A past I wanted to forget. I need to see Mitch and at least explain to him what happened and hope that he'll at least forgive me. Then I can get back to my life in Houston the life I love.</p><p>Why does she affect me the way she does? She broke my heart then left. Now she's back. Nothing good will come of this.</p>
