Mixed Affective Disorders

Today among the current issues of modern psychiatry are discussed mixed affective states. They combine clinical signs of both depression and mania. Also they are most often observed in bipolar and schizoaffective disorders. The revival of interest in this problem is due their modern pathomorphosis and the tendency to develop atypical affective disorders. This study examined the main clinical variants of mixed affective disorders their exacerbation and remission. The most common treatment regimens were also analyzed. Prognostic signs of low quality remission in patients with mixed affective disorders and their prognostic coefficient had been identified.
