Mobilization and Stimulation of Neuromuscular Tissue

Mobilization and Stimulation of Neuromuscular Tissue (MaSoNT) is an innovative treatment approach aiming to trigger functional recovery on the hemiplegic upper and lower limb of stroke patients. This textbook analyzes the physiology underpinning the approach and the evidence that supports its safety and clinical usefulness. Most importantly this textbook focuses on the application process demonstrates the variety of techniques implemented in the concept explains and describes elaborately how and when to use every technique as well as suggests a prognosis tool based on one of MaSoNT''s techniques. The concept is newly invented and even though it has not been widely practiced it offers an easy fast and low-cost therapeutic alternative for physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
