`Monsoon comes from an Arabic word Mausim means season. A seasonal reversing of wind iscoming from Africa to southeast Asia and covering a major part of the tropical eastern Hemisphere called the worlds major monsoonal region. The mechanism behind this seasonal reversalin wind direction is very interesting. The gigantic sea and land breezes simply can explain themechanism behind the seasonal changes in wind direction over the worlds monsoon region over the north of the equator. Furthermore the sea area expands over a vast part that controlsthe southern share of the monsoon zone. A large land-sea temperature gradient develops over tothe intense heating over the western North Africa and southern Asia when northern hemispheressummers starts the development of the gigantic sea breeze. In the local level the moist air transportto the landward with the development of the large-scale sea-breeze which paving the intense showersand thunderstorms over the course. At the end of the monsoon season the land starts cooling andthe gradual oshore winter monsoon starts. As a matter of fact the hot and warm zone shiftssouthward and settle over the Southern Hemisphere. The gigantic phenomena of the South-Asian (SA) monsoon is very complex and is the heart ofthe major monsoon zone. With some regional adjustments the IMD has identied four climatologyseasons in international standard over the year. January to February (JF) considered aswinter March-April-May (MAM) are called summer monsoon season lasts from June-July-August-September (JJAS) and October-November-December (OND) are considered as post-monsoon season. These seasons are considered with some regional adjustments. Indian subcontinent facesmaximum temperature during the month of May and the climatology temperature distributionis considered . The Indian subcontinent experience massive heat during the month ofMay which draws the monsoon trough over northern India and the adjoining region .
