Modern Socialism. Russian Experience.

In Marx's time the complexity and science intensity of production were low compared to the present time. Private capital easily coped with production problems. Some modern types of production have reached a level of complexity and science use beyond the ability of private capital and the state is forced to take control into its own hands. For example space the construction of nuclear icebreakers. The need for state participation in the coordination of production activities increased dramatically. For example the creation of a unified energy system of the country. Marx proceeded from the fact that state ownership emerges only after the nationalization of private enterprises. Socialism could arise only as a result of a revolution. The situation in Russia demonstrates the possibility moreover the necessity of a sharp increase in the state sector of the economy. And this is a movement in the direction of socialism which will eventually lead to the movement of modern Russian capitalism into socialism.
