With the increase in the popularity among orthodontic patients for the non-extraction treatment protocol. This paradigm shift made the clinicians (orthodontist) think about various methods to avoid extractions. For planning non-extraction treatment gaining space is very crucial in class II malocclusion cases. Molar distalization is evolved as an alternative and conventional method of gaining space.
