Cancer is a disease caused by defective genes that transforms a normal cell into a cancerous cell in such a way that is unable to control cell growth and thus continue to proliferate in an irregular fashion. Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the commonest malignant tumors worldwide and represents an important type of cancers in Iraq in recently. Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the leading causes of deaths in the world. It is the second most common cause of cancer related deaths in Western countries including the United States.
