Mongolian Mine closure

About The Book

As we progress into the twenty-first century there is increasing awareness of the need to provide for 'sustainability' of ecological and social settings in which mines are developed operated and closed. The Closure Plan document itself must be completed in a logical manner which will provide the reader with a description of the area from pre-mining through to closure. The Closure Plan should also provide a discussion of the impacts (positive and negative) of mining on the surrounding environment socio-economics land use health and safety etc. This long term response is essentially an assessment of the sustainability of the site post closure and defines the need for long term monitoring and maintenance required by the site i.e. the 'burden' placed on succeeding generations. Mongolia has huge mining sector and environmental degradation problems increasing day to day. Developed countries are decided that problems and they using mine closure. In Mongolia recent years just starting mine closure implementation. So I choose that research topic about Mongolian mining sector. Finally i want to thank my son Anand.
