Monster of the Asteroid

Grant Douglas and Jack Parrish embark on a mission to investigate a mysterious asteroid that has been emitting unusual signals. As they approach the asteroid they discover it has an atmosphere and signs of life which is unexpected for such a small celestial body. Upon landing they find themselves in a strange and hostile environment. The asteroid is home to bizarre and dangerous flora and fauna but the most shocking discovery is a colossal monstrous creature that dominates the landscape. This monster of the asteroid appears to be a remnant of a bygone era possibly a survivor from a planet that was destroyed leaving only this fragment and its monstrous inhabitant.
