Moody River: Some of the Many Faces of the River Derwent Hobart Tasmania''

I was prompted to compile this book after having exhibited some ofthe photographs contained within on several occassions. The mostcommon comment from local hobartians was i have never seen theriver looking like that there is only one river in hobart andall the photographs are as taken with no enhancement whatsoever.I take the photographs in an attempt to capture the myriad colourslights textures and moments that are the everchanging face of theriver. I present them here in an attempt to encourage people to notjust look at or walk through the world around them but to trulysee and feel the little things that cause us to pause or smile thedeeply enriching engagement with the everyday familiar world thatmakes of this existance a life.
