Standard revised edition contains no pictures. The book is divided into two parts. The first part is called the guide. The guide consists of suggestions and guidelines on working with this book keeping a diary and writing tips respectively general information regarding the Moon from cultural mystical and scientific perspectives. The second part is the journal and it is waiting to be written by you. The journal has 354 dotted pages numbered and noted as diary entries. Each diary page features an inspirational Moon related quote. 12 additional diary entry pages have been added to made up the difference between a lunar and a solar year plus a couple of extra note pages to have a total of 400 pages.
