Moral education of students in the study of Russian literature

To date the problem of moral education in high school is actively gaining popularity in our modern world. Entering the world educational community oriented directions of the new system of education which in turn will allow to save and improve the spiritual and moral traditions which formed the rudiments of its development in the first quarter of the twentieth century.First of all education begins with the family. Education has purposefully taken a course on the formation of a harmoniously developed personality of an individual student as a subject of formation of morality. The result can be the possession by students of such qualities as: humanity selflessness kindness duty sympathy care honor attention affection compassion love mercy dignity respect goodwill altruism modesty generosity patriotism and much more. Vasily Alexandrovich Sukhomlinsky noted: We strive to establish in the minds and feelings of every child an important moral ideal: my personal dignity consists in doing good to people and not doing evil.
