About The Book

The story is set in a future where a totalitarian government has established a controlled society. The protagonist a young man named Bernard becomes increasingly disillusioned with the oppressive regime and begins to question the moral implications of living in such a society. As he grapples with his conscience and the ethical dilemmas posed by the government's policies Bernard finds himself drawn into a clandestine movement that seeks to challenge the status quo and bring about change.
