Moral values of primary school pupils

The monograph reveals the essence of the concepts of 'values' and 'moral values' in philosophy and substantiates the mechanisms of their formation and development. Based on an analysis of the peculiarities of the formation of moral values in primary school age their substantive structure is substantiated including cognitive emotional-motivational and behavioural components. In accordance with the substantiated structure of moral values the criteria and indicators of this characteristic are identified. The monograph also highlights the approximate directions of work on the formation of moral values in primary school children and proposes forms and methods of work that ensure the effectiveness of the educational process.
