More Light on Hollywood Publicity Stills Photos and Cards in the 1940s & 1950s

Reproduced in full color over 150 movie stills posters and lobby cards are used to illustrate this short survey of cinema advertising mainly in the 1940s and 1950s (although the 1930s and 1960s are not entirely neglected). The accent is mainly on American one-sheet posters and 11x14 lobby cards but a few of the more colorful classic French Belgian and Italian one-sheets are also examined.
