More Of Jesus...Less Of Me!

<p class=ql-align-justify><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>f there is anything we can take away from John the Baptist and the powerful Spirit-led life he lived it is this: He quickly pointed to Christ the Lord.  In essence John was saying I am not alive today for my sake; my life is about promoting the life of Jesus -nothing else!  John adds by saying </span><em style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1); background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1)>I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming whose sandal strap I am not worthy to lose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.</em></p><p class=ql-align-justify></p><p class=ql-align-justify><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>In the following chapters God has put in my heart a few principles about what it means to desire more of Christ's characteristics and how one must enter a life of deeper brokenness.  To have more of Jesus one must die more to</span><em style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)> self</em><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>.  There is no way around this.  I hear believers crying out </span><em style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Jesus give me more of You!</em><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>  I can almost hear Jesus saying </span><em style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>You give me more of you and you will have more of me!  </em></p><p class=ql-align-justify></p><p class=ql-align-justify><em style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>More of Jesus Less of Me! </em><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Has been written to lift the hungry servant of Jesus to a higher ground in the knowledge of Christ producing a more profound impact on him and those who hear Him.
