More Parables for Plain People

<p><em>Synopsis</em>: Since the release of his first book <em>Parables for Plain People</em> the author has been asked often why these observations of his are called parables. The reply is always the same: The Sunday School definition of a parable is An earthly story with a heavenly meaning.</p><p>Each parable is brief but packed with discernment and occasional humor and most readers find it hard to stop reading after only one or two. This is just the book for you if you need encouragement in times of difficulty stress or trouble. Many turn to it for comfort in times of sadness and grief. Some have even found it to be a rich resource for devotional talks and readings.</p><p></p><p><em>Autobiography</em>: Jack Worrill is a native of Atlanta Georgia where he was born raised and educated. Shortly after his graduation from Georgia Tech he was married and began his professional career as an advertising executive developing his creative skills as a copywriter and sales executive. After over thirty years in advertising he experienced a complete career change and became a Chair Caning and Furniture Restoration Craftsman a business he continues after nearly twenty years as a bi-vocational Minister of Music. Since the loss of his first wife Lyn to cancer in 2010 he was blessed with his marriage to his wife Joyce in 2012. Since their move from Atlanta to Knoxville in 2020 his activities have included various ministries in both local and foreign missions.</p>
