More Than a Promise

<p>The new year hadn't been kind to Amy. Her divorce was finalized on February 14th a cruel irony she couldn't ignore. At thirty-two she was no longer part of a couple and her hopes of having children felt more like a dream than a reality. She always thought that she and Danny would be together forever raising a beautiful family. But he had other ideas which included having an affair with a younger woman which resulted in an unexpected pregnancy. She didn't know if she was hurt more by the divorce or the fact that he was having a child with someone else forcing her to find another relationship that would eventually give her the child she desired so much.</p><p>Eight months later her desire for a child grew even stronger when she met her new neighbor Gage's adorable three-year-old daughter. Her neighbor was attractive and undeniably charming and it wasn't long before she'd formed a bond with both. Her weekends were now spent sharing meals and adventures with the inseparable pair.</p><p>As their friendship deepened she felt more comfortable sharing her desire for a child. He reassured her with hopeful words insisting she would one day find the right person to start a family with. But after months of her spending all her free time with him and his daughter he began to understand the depth of her desire. He saw how wonderful she was with his child and was convinced that she would make a wonderful mother. And with that thought he presented her with a proposal - one that might just be the answer to her problem.</p><p>Neither of them could have predicted the outcome of that proposal and how much their lives would be changed because of it.</p>
