It's a tale as old as time.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Samantha Vale's life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Luke Fletcher but it goes completely off the rails when she finds his house unlocked and empty and a peculiar book in the armchair where his butt should have been.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>How is it that one day she's working the cash register at a gas station in Halifax and the next she's discussing the recent changes in raptor migration patterns with a bunch of Renaissance fair actors just a few meters away from a supposedly cursed forest? A cursed forest that is decidedly not in Canada given its tragic lack of reasonable proximity to a Tim Hortons.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Sam must navigate a world where gas stations don't even exist yet talking squirrels voyeuristic unicorns and demons with weird motivations do in order to find Luke and perhaps equally important a way back home.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>And all </span><em style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>without</em><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)> her Timmy's fix.</span></p><p>That's a tall order.</p>
