About The Book

Paratilapia sp. Fiamanga was classified as extinct in the wild for several years before being rediscovered in 2010 by two fishermen fish farmers of Ambohimahamasy (Mr. André and Mr. Modeste). This species is introduced in fish farming. The risk of their disappearance decreases little by little because of its breeding in captivity and its reinsertion in natural environment. With conditions more or less similar to those of the natural environment this species has a daily growth rate of 0.8 grams per day.
