Morphology consequences of L. nigerrima attack on eucalyptus

The book was written to provide to students and professionals from the forest sector and related areas a reference material on Lampetis nigerrima an important coleopteran pest of young eucalyptus plants. Eucalyptus plantations are constantly growing to meet the needs of the forest-based sector and the supply of plant material favors the emergence of insect pests. In this work the study on the consequences of the attack of L. niguerrima to Eucalyptus as well as the correction pruning was a necessity to discover the weed action and the real need for intervention to this pest of great importance to the culture of Eucalyptus.
