Mother's love - The shade of flowers

I am indebted to my daddy for my intellectual curiosity and pursuit of independence to my mummy for the efflorescence of my heart and life. - Rakesh Anand BakshiMaa Mother the most beautiful color in the palette of our life. With our mother we dare to dream learn explore and thrive. With her blessings and prayers we are ever protected. The love of a mother manifests into a wholesome up bringing of the child. Moreover a mother adds unparalleled beauty to our world much like the serene shade of colorful flowers blooming in the spring.. I wrote these poems as a tribute to my mother Kamla Anand Bakshi. But she could never read them Mummy was not able to read English. So I decided to publish them 13 years after her eternal travel as a book for women children moms anyone to read and appreciate mothers. It includes a poem to my father too that reflects my admiration for my mother. Sadly I was too shy to give my dad the poems I wrote for him.. This illustrated book includes letters written as tributes for mothers.. As I wrote my own tribute for my mom for this book and later as I read that of others in this book I was surrounded by the love and warmth of mothers who are a role model for us. Overwhelming gratitude for my mom too is what I felt even long after I had finished reading it.. ‘Mother’s Love the shade of flowers’ should be read by teens and adults alike and can make a most deserving gift for our mom or anyone else. If you do present it to your mom may I please urge you not to present it without writing a note for her. The book has space enough for you to add your own tribute to your mom; share with her what she means to you.
