Motor Boat Boys on the St. Lawrence

Motor Boat Boys on the St. Lawrence follows the adventures of a group of young boys-Clayton Emmett Alex Smithwick Julian Shafer and Cornelius Witters-aboard their motorboat the _Rambler_ as they navigate the mysterious waters of the St. Lawrence River. The story begins with the boys receiving a cryptic package from a mysterious visitor which includes a map and instructions to head north. This sets them on a path filled with intrigue and danger as they become entangled in a historical mystery involving a lost channel and a valuable charter. As they journey the boys encounter various challenges including an attempt to sabotage their boat by a treacherous guest named Max Michel. They also face threats from a group of outlaws who are determined to prevent them from discovering the secrets of the lost channel. Despite these obstacles the boys remain determined to uncover the truth behind the mysterious map and the historical charter it promises to reveal. Their adventure is further complicated by the presence of two opposing forces: one that seeks to aid them in their quest and another that aims to thwart their efforts. The boys must navigate these treacherous waters both literally and figuratively as they strive to solve the mystery and avoid the dangers that lurk around every bend. Throughout their journey the boys rely on their wits courage and the companionship of their loyal dog Captain Joe and a bear cub named Teddy.
