Motorcyclists Victims of Traffic Accidents

In Brazil and around the world lives are interrupted due to the large number of traffic accidents that occur every day. In view of the above it is necessary to trace the epidemiological profile of motorcyclists treated at the Reference Hospital in the municipality of Parnaíba-PI in addition to characterizing the sociodemographic profile of the victims; determining the most injured body area the type of injury produced and the possible sequelae of the accidents. This is a descriptive exploratory study with a quantitative approach. The study took place in a public referral hospital with a sample of 109 victims of motorcycle accidents.
