Mount Qāf

About The Book

The biographical novel Mount Qāf is based on histories of medieval Andalus. Muḥyiddīn ibn Al-͑Arabi was a contemporary of Avempace and Averrhoes and was a pupil of the latter. He witnessed a number of battles between Andalusian Arabs and Spanish Christian kingdoms. From early childhood this son of an army general in Murcia studied philosophy and religions.
