Mountains My Passion

In this book I describe the climbs that I have made in nine countries over twenty-five years. I started climbing late in life - at age 55 - and I am still climbing in my eightieth year. Summits that I have reached or attempted include Mont Blanc The Matterhorn The Eiger Everest Base Camp Kilimanjaro Mount Cook Mera Peak in Nepal Aconcagua in Argentina Mount Ararat in Turkey Mount Fuji in Japan Yushan in Taiwan; and La Meije La Verte Bionnassay and many other peaks in the European Alps. Although I am eighty I intend to continue climbing for as long as possible.
