Mr. Goodman's Store

This book provides insight into the joy a child experiences when she sees the toy of her dreams near the check-out counter. When her Mother is walking out of the store and calls her name she runs to join her (not realizing she still had the toy in her hand). The story includes issues of conflict confusion fear comfort empathy resolution and friendship. The story ends with a plan to earn money for tasks at home and learn to save for items of interest.
