Imagine a box. Imagine putting all the dark aspects of yourself all the things you would rather no-one knew about you into that box and imagine closing the lid. Now... you feel better already don't you? Redman was a top detective on the force before he suffered a psychotic episode. Doctor Georgina Barnes is a respected psychiatric consultant attempting to guide Redman back to mental health. Redman finds his old instincts as a cop invaluable when a fellow inmate falls to his death from the hospital roof. Did the poor guy jump as everyone assumes or was he pushed? And why are the hospital authorities so keen to avoid an inquiry? Redman's quest for the truth brings him into conflict with Doctor Georgina the other patients on the ward and even his own psyche. Redman battles his symptoms in order to uncover the truth about the man who fell from the roof. Everyone on the ward is a suspect even Redman himself. To solve the mystery he must face his own demons. He must open the box.
