<p>This is the very personal story of how and why I became an educator. It tells of how my early life influences preordained my decision to forego a more financially rewarding career and become what many people advised me to be. It’s the story of the struggles and sacrifices that all teachers make. But most importantly it’s the affirmation of how rewarding and fulfilling a career in education can be. The book summarizes my career in the field of education and gives an explanation of my ideas of what I feel makes good schools and good teachers.</p>
