The author read this book to many students at various schools before it was published. Here are comments from the teachers: Lots of humor. Lots of opportunities for predicting throughout the story. There was lots of action to keep students engaged and great dialogue from the chipmunks. I loved the play on words at the end! What a super way to review counting patterns 2-D shapes and 3-D solids.
